Assistant Product Manager | BONDS Baby | Full Time Permanent Opportunity

We are looking for an all-round awesome Assistant Product Manager to join the BONDS team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work on one of Australia’s most iconic brands and the fun, vibrant and colourful Baby category!

Your role will be supporting and assisting our Product Manager in the development of seasonal range assortments and in the execution of product plans across BONDS Baby apparel and accessories. Your key objective is the delivery of a highly commercial and profitable product range through effective product lifecycle management, quarterly reviews, range planning & sell through analysis.

What’s the role?

Supporting and coordinating all activities relating to the seasonal range development
Entering and maintaining all seasonal feasibility (buy plan) documents, including pricing customer segmentation and article set up ensuring 100% data integrity
Briefing and managing all packaging requirements in line with the brand and range plans
Generating and maintaining seasonal option plan documents
Assisting in preparing and presenting quarterly reviews, range assortment plans & internal range presentations
Providing standardized reports and analytical support to aid in decision making
Participating in market research and analysis on changing conditions
Organising samples for retailer presentations

What are we looking for?

You have a love for product and ideally come with experience in product development, planning or buying, ideally within the retail/apparel/fashion industry
You are exceptionally organised and able to multi-take: getting interrupted while juggling a variety of conflicting priorities and deadlines is the norm, and you are comfortable jumping in and out of projects accordingly
You are naturally analytical and love working on Excel: not a day goes by where you won’t be working on spreadsheets or crunching numbers …
Effective communication across a broad stakeholder group will ensure success in this role – you are confident and practical, able to build and foster strong working relationships and influence stakeholders
