Job Summary Statement/Purpose:

The Graduate Internship programme aims to create a pipeline of young talent within the business. The programme offers graduates an opportunity to gain on-the-job practical workplace experience while providing on-going support and training.

Qualifying Criteria
About Graduate Programme:
Most of the phases of the programme will be assessed, but we expect more from you than just meeting minimum requirements. We expect you to make the most of the exposure you’ll enjoy in terms of learning and experience
We have a number of programmes that allow you to choose what’s right for you!
1. IT Security Graduate:
This opportunity is for interns to use their academic background in Information Technology to obtain experience in the areas of Cybersecurity, which will enable them to actively protect the organisations information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal threats to ensure Sasria’s business is operated on trustworthy digital platforms. The candidate will also learn about compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information access, security, and privacy.
2. IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Graduate:
This opportunity is for interns to use their academic background in Information Technology and Compliance Management to obtain experience in the areas of IT Risk Management and Assurance goals and objectives to ensure IT delivers value to business in a responsible and sustainable manner.
3. Solution Architecture Graduate:
We are looking to groom a solution architecture intern who is enthusiastic to join a fast paced and innovative environment. The Intern will work on a variety of enterprise level projects that will enable business areas across the organisation to transform and modernise their functions.
4. Investment Graduate:
The graduate will gain exposure and experience in: Consolidating, monitoring, and analysing investment data, Reporting on Sasria’s investment portfolio and performance and Identification of investment risks and opportunities. Assisting the Head of investments with ad-hoc activities.
Educational Requirements:
1. IT Security Graduate:
Minimum requirements:
Matric and IT related National diploma or degree
2. IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Graduate:
Minimum requirements:
Matric and National Diploma in IT, Auditing or relevant qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6
3. Solution Architecture Graduate:
Minimum requirements:
Matric and Relevant IT Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems / Computer Systems
4. Investment Graduate:
Minimum requirements:
Matric and BBusSci/ Bcom/ BCom (Hons) Finance/Investments/Economics
Added advantage:
Studying towards CFA will be advantageous
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word advanced
Demographics:
A South African citizen of any gender. Preference will be given to disability candidates.
